San Francisco: the good, the bad, and the ugly

The good: we were able to drive down to S.F. for a quick weekend trip to see our good friends from Hungary, Nick and Rosemary...and their new little guy, Nathaniel. We had a good time: walked from nob hill to Lombard St. to Fisherman's wharf to Pier 39 to China Town and back to nob hill. Exhausting. Doesn't look so bad
The bad: I didn't get enough rest for my cough and now am still sick
The ugly: being home sick with two boys we are now sick as well. So much for preparing for the baby to come. I only hope he doesn't come into a house full of the flu!
Here are some pictures of the trip. Jake was most interested in the Golden Gate Bridge, exclaiming that "It's everywhere!" (buses, signs, etc). He also had a good time looking at all of the interesting signs. Not sure if I liked that so much...maybe we noticed different signs though!

Do you think of Grandpa Balsbaugh standing in soup lines waiting to be old enough to join the Navy when you're there? I always do.
