A Week Gone By

Well, of all the weeks I have had with four children (I believe we are up to 12 weeks now) this has been the hardest. Perhaps it is that both babies are teething, or that the newness of home school has worn off for my three year old, our first racial incident or the persistent headache caused by who knows what. Whatever it is, it has just been "one of those weeks."

Also coinciding with "one of those weeks" was our first post placement visit. Needless to say I paused (perhaps too long) when he asked "So, how are things going?"

Wrong week to ask that question, dude! It is a good thing I trust this guy to understand. (He is an adoptive father of four and a pastor. Great family!)

Anyhoo...this has also been the week when I have begun to revamp Jake's curriculum, start Noah's readoption, clean out the extra room, shuffle baby clothes up to the next size and...well...I guess that is it. Oh...and Josh started school again after a two term break.

All this to say...I am cramming Movie Monday, Wordless Wednesday and Favorite Photo Friday all into one post. Have a great weekend!

Movie Monday:

Wordless Wednesday: Portrait? Yeah right!

Favorite Photo Friday:
Most of my favorites from this week were already posted on the weekend review.

You, my sister, have a LOT on your plate.

Remember today this:

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
His mercies never come to an end.
They are new every morning;
Great is your faithfulness.

Lamentations 3:22-23

I love that verse Janine, it has seen me through the darkest moments and the longest nights!!! May that verse bless you just the same Jo!!!
I also think you all should play hookie today and go tramping through falling leaves, buy a sugar pumkin, let the boy take out the "guts" bake it and make yummy pumkin bread...that is our newest thing here!!!Our you can play hookie drive 7 hours to Seattle and come play... we are playing hookie today and spending it at the childrens museum...cause learing does not just happen in the classroom!!
Anyways blessings my dear friend!

Oh my word!!! Came back later to watch the video. I was laughing so hard. That was the best Movie Monday ever.

The M & Ms part was great. And when I saw Ollie hanging onto your cord I lost it.

Love you. See you tonight.

First, did you save the drawing that goes with the commentary?
Jake's response to finding the M&Ms...what a kid. And I loved how Noah stopped yelling when you panned the camera his way. He obviously thought he was too far from the action. And you wonder where the headache comes from?
However, out of all the chaos and busyness come such precious glimpses of your life with four little men!

Oh your kids are ADORABLE!!! I love all the shots of trying to get them all to look in one direction. Too cute!!!
I'm sorry your having "one of those" weeks. I'll pray next week is much better!!

Josh was just over for lunch. Wish you could hear how proud of you he is! You're a great Mom. I don't know how you do it.

Sounds similar to my week and our first post placement visit was this week too...ugh, readoption, we are trying to get started; fingerprints are first. Great shots of the boys! I can't believe we've been back for 12 weeks!
