Another Hug

The last time we went to see Michael Card was three years ago.

We were blessed to see him again last night.

The songs were mostly known...with a new one thrown in...and a couple we haven't managed to come across.

Let the Children Come. Click on this and let it play.

At the end of the concert, I gave the "go ahead" for the boys to make their way over to say hello.

Oliver wiggled his way through the crowd of tall bodies first and it didn't take him long to get his attention and give a big hug.

He turned his back on the adults and got each of their names, gave hugs or handshakes, small talk and warm smiles.

His attitude towards children in humbling. Inspiring. He gets it.

Even my most reserved child...the one who will not even interrupt those he knows...made no hesitation.

And I know the kids walked away feeling the love of Christ.
