June in review

As I said before, June just happened. Nothing much went on. Until I looked back at the photos. I guess things did happen in June.

There was a classic small town parade

Potty training was started...x2

Took a MUCH anticipated trip to the aquarium to set ice cubes father free. Ice cube (for those who don't know) is a baby penguin. Max discovered his father and mother floundering in the gift shop. At the time, he only had enough money to buy one parent. The poor father had to remain in the gift shop until he saved enough money for him. He saved enough with pennies to spare.

There was a potentially epic tragedy when suddenly Max realized that Ice Cube (who had come along for the excursion) was missing from his arms. He was recovered in the shark tank observation room. Whew!

In other epic occasions...Lily learned to grab her toes.

And Aunt Kellie and Uncle Jason came for a visit

There was a little nursery re-decoration

And a potluck in the park with new and old friends

We said "goodbye" to the school year and to first grade/preschool

Then we chased the sun to watch it set on the longest day of the year.

I guess summer did start in June. Hooray for summer!

I think this is what I need to do. I'm so behind. Nice recap on the highlights.
