And We're Off

I like to preempt people. Especially when it is a question I get all the time such as "Why did you decide to home school." Now I do understand that this is a perfectly fine question, as the reasons for homeschooling are many; but in the right mood, it is fun to ask "So...why did you decide to send your kids to public school?"

My point is: each of us has decided to educate
our children in a certain way. None are right over
the others, but it is a good idea to know why you do what you do.

So...why am I teaching my kids at home? Well, the answer is
not all that complicated.
1: I would miss them too much were they to be away for that long and
2: I believe I can give them a solid elementary education this year.

Tomorrow's school year
will worry about itself.

However, since we are embarking on "the road
less traveled" I am going to try to preserve a picture of what goes on in our small house school through this blog.
Hopefully daily but probably not.

Welcome to the journey of education. May it never end.

Did you start a new one? I'm excited if so!

But if you did, you didn't put a link to it.

Great Answer :) The second one is our answer to "are you going to do it forever then".
