Interaction: A Step Away from Parallel Play

It makes me hold my breath and breath a sigh of relief all at the same time. They are actually playing together...with their own rules, adaptations and inventions.

Their game is a mix of trading, choosing, requesting, and deciding. The other day it lasted for 30 minutes. These two crack me up.

A big step; no longer toddlers but very cute little boys:) So fun to watch them interact.

That is hilarious!! The sounds so much alike too. My boys sound like that except Luke just does a lot more grunting and less talking. I do love that Isaiah will stop me and say, "No mama. I'm talking to Wukey." They will play together for a bit and then back to parallel play. It's so fun to see the changes and makes me glad we have 2 so close together.
