Celebration of Racial Diversity and The Fight for the Sanctity of Life

Two sermons worthy of our time; Two issues worthy of our Christian passion

"This weekend is Martin Luther King weekend, next week is the Sanctity of Life weekend...they just happen to come back to back each year. One is a democratic issue, the other is a Republican issue. Shouldn't be that way, and I don't give a rip about what party it is. I care a lot about this: Jesus is my king, no man and no party. So if we sound liberalish one weekend and conservativeish another weekend, so be it." - John Piper

I read the "Born Blind for the Glory of God" piece. It was so good. I need to read the other one.

Beautiful picture.

Well sister, one night when you're not exhausted and have the time, we should talk over the Racial Diversity sermon. I'm so glad you posted it. I had it in my inbox, but may have never actually got around to listening to it. Powerful, powerful, inspiring advice from a man that I admire and have learned so much from over the years.

Wow. Tears and smiles both came to me.
